Thomas Cooper’s Sparkling Ale

Got a big name to live up to, this one. Made exactly to the recipe, including the can of beer concentrate, a 1.5kg can of malt extract, 500g of light dried malt, and 300g dextrose. Included the yeasty dregs of a bottle of “Coopers Sparkling Ale”. Will hopefully be as good as it’s namesake, and also last years ‘Heritage Lager.’

Is improving with age. Head retention is terrible, but there are some subtle fruity characteristics in the flavour. Strong in alcohol, but less so in flavour. An okay beer, should improve with time.
