Burly Bavarian

Bavarian Lager

Second attempt at ‘Coopers Bavarian Lager’ and first lager of the winter. No added malt this time, but a little extra dex should make this one a knockout.

Easy drinking lager – reminiscent of many forgettable euro lagers like heineken, becks, amsterdam. Crisp and malty, it disappeared almost entirely on Phone’s bucks night.

Apparently this style is also known as Helles, which means pale.

Another TCB Wetpak. Destined to be known as ‘Dan Black’. Should be a good way to keep warm come winter.

Quite a mellow black ale. Some fresh hops aroma, and a strong malty taste. A pretty darn good black beer, and certainly easier to drink than the stout.
